Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Nature of Services
Lendit provides funding solutions to limited companies through a variety of proprietary credit lines.
The specific funding line or facility we use to provide finance may vary and will only be confirmed at contract stage.
By engaging with us, you acknowledge and accept that our services are unregulated and are therefore not covered by regulatory protections (such as the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme).
Profitability of Funding Agreements
Lendit is a commercial funder and will derive profit from any funding agreements entered into with your company.
The level and method of profit may vary depending on the nature of the funding facility and the proprietary credit line utilised.
Details of any charges, fees, interest, or profit mechanisms will be disclosed in full at the contract stage prior to your acceptance of any funding offer.
Application & Ongoing Monitoring
When you apply for funding through Lendit, you agree that we may monitor your company’s financial status and eligibility for funding on an ongoing basis.
By submitting an application, you consent to Lendit contacting you in the future about additional or alternative funding products which may become available.
Credit Searches
In assessing applications, Lendit may carry out soft credit searches and use information from credit reference agencies and other sources.
A soft credit search does not affect your company’s credit score and is not visible to other lenders.
These searches are used solely for the purposes of assessing eligibility for funding and ongoing monitoring.
We use credit reference agencies to help assess eligibility, verify identity, prevent fraud and manage our lending risk. When we run a soft search, it does not affect your credit score and is not visible to other lenders.
The CRAs each publish a Credit Reference Agency Information Notice (CRAIN) explaining how they use and share personal data.
You can read these here:
Experian – https://www.experian.co.uk/legal/crain/
The information we and the CRAs process includes identification details, credit history and public records (such as CCJs). Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (assessing credit risk and preventing fraud) and, where applicable, legal obligation.
Marketing & Communications
By applying with Lendit, you consent to us contacting you by email, phone, or SMS regarding current and future funding products.
You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by:
- Clicking the 'unsubscribe' link in any email;
- Replying 'STOP' to SMS messages;
- Contacting us directly at marketing@lendit.io
Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you regarding existing contracts, ongoing applications, or essential updates.
Testimonials & Reviews
Testimonials published on this website represent the honest opinions and experiences of the individuals or companies providing them. Results and timeframes can vary between customers. We may republish reviews left on third-party platforms (e.g., Trustpilot) with attribution and a link to the original source. Such reviews remain subject to the third party’s terms.
